Itinerary Highlights

  • Sunrise visit to the majestic and world-renowned Taj Mahal. Check it off your bucket list and stand before the mesmerizing marble architecture of this UNESCO World Heritage Site — one of the new seven wonders of the world!

  • Four nights in Rishikesh, the birthplace of Yoga. Enjoy morning yoga and meditation in the Yoga Capital of the World! Indulge Ganga baths, nature walks, and sightseeing to the many temples and ashrams of this walkable holy town settled on the banks of the sacred Ganges River.

  • Mountaintop sunrise and morning yoga over the Himalayan range at Kunja Puri. Witness the glowing radiance of the sun rise over a vast, seemingly endless Himalayan range.

  • Evening fire ceremony on the Ganges river in holy Rishikesh, one of India's most sacred pilgrimage destinations. Watch tiny flickering lamps floated off the sacred ghats (bathing steps) into the holy river in this lively and celebratory worship ceremony.

  • 4-day beginner friendly Himalayan trek to Chandrashila Peak. The Deoriatal-Chandrashila peak trek has the components of every great Himalayan trek — from mixed forests to meadows, a glacial lake, stunning mountain views, and even a summit climb! This trek is primarily for first timers who want an introduction to trekking in the Himalayas. It’s also for seasoned trekkers who wish to go on a shorter leisurely trek.

Uttarakhand: THE LAND OF GODS

India evokes fantasies of vivid colors, diverse culture, and surreal landscapes. Uttarakhand, the stunningly beautiful state in the Himalayan North of India, takes this vision to a whole new level. A place of both myth and mountains, Hindus refer to this terrain as the Land of Gods. These charming hill stations nestled within snow-capped peaks, quaint villages, shimmering lakes, and serpentine rivers were the very setting for much of Hindu lore.

Uttarakhand is known for its palpable spiritual energy and mountains steeped in millennia of yogis, sadhus, and pilgrims practicing meditation. Rishikesh, considered the birthplace of Yoga, was made famous by the Beatles’ visit in 1968. Settled on the foothills of the Himalayas near the banks of the sacred Ganges River, Rishikesh remains one of the most important destinations for travelers, yoga practitioners, and spiritual seekers.

The summits views from Uttarakhand are the tallest ones in India. As you climb up to Chandrashila peak, one by one, all the major summits of Western and Eastern Uttarakhand will pop into view. Uttarakhand’s spectacular landscapes and rich spiritual history makes it India’s ultimate destination for adventurers, nature lovers, and travel enthusiasts alike!

Five years ago, I came to India looking to shift.

A large part of me felt missing from my life — I didn't feel deeply alive, or that I was living up to my true potential. There was a feeling that would not stop nagging me: There was more. I could feel connected to myself and surroundings. I could feel steeped in my purpose. I could feel turned on to life and seated in myself. And I was ready. I was ready to shift out of my current paradigm and up-level my existence to one of adventure, radical fulfillment, and infinite possibility. So I made a bold investment in myself and answered the call to India — a decision that, to this day, remains the most powerful, healing, and life-changing decision I have ever made. Yes, I was afraid. Yes, I had doubts. But I invited them to soften their edges and join alongside me.

India blasted my heart and life wide open and did not waste a single moment to show me something about myself I didn't know. The symphony of sights, sounds, tastes, and smells jostled my being and awakened resources and possibilities within me that I didn't know were there. And, somehow, somewhere along the way, the old fears and small stories lost their hold.

You also can feel deeply alive, wildly expanded, and opened to a whole new possibility for living. All you have to do is give yourself permission to do something ridiculous — something insanely out of your comfort zone (but equally enthralling) — that can catapult you into a new vibration with no hope for return. All you have to do is invest wildly in yourself and know that you deserve it.

It's so easy to go years of our life ignoring our creative impulses and true heart yearnings — just wondering if there is something bigger for us out there. But you don't have to wonder. You are a citizen of the world and you have nothing to be a afraid of. You can do and create anything you desire.

This will be the 5th trip I've led to India. Although I have lead many trips in multiple destinations, all my repeat clients say it was India that was the most impactful — it was India that changed everything

So join me.

For what is being truly alive if not a decision to be open instead of resistant, wild rather than comfortable, and trusting rather than afraid — so that at any moment we can receive the freshest, truest, radical version of ourselves that life longs to give us?

Yours on the journey,

"This was truly a transformational experience and I never say this! Through Jessica's teachings and thoughtfully planned experiences of India, we were shown how to live as an edge-walker of life; to act from the heart and to live beautifully in the unknown. If you are seeking a deeper experience of life itself, travel with Jessica. It's the most profound thing I've ever done for myself."

— Shannon Kaza, India retreat participant.

"Anyone who has wanderlust to experience a beautifully wild country needs to experience India. But not just experience India — experience India with Jessica! Jessica was continually available with advice, passion, and love, and I felt her support and dedication to us every day we were together. Every part of my experience has stuck with me and it continues to work in my life to improve myself, shape my desires, and open my eyes to endless possibilities. I will be back to India. It's hard for me to think about not being there now. It becomes a part of who you are and it was, hands down, the best decision I have ever made."

—Chantal Krystiniak, India retreat participant.

"Jessica sets up a hell of a trip through what I would say is the wildest, most inviting, and spiritually-uplifting country I'll ever encounter. She is an unconditional friend and incredibly skillful at allowing your particular journey to unfold. I am telling you to go and be in this country and soak up the goodness! I am grateful to Jessica and her potent spirit."

— Stephanie Squibb, India tour participant

"I was fortunate enough to attend Jessica's Spiritual South India Tour with my daughter in January 2017. We fell instantly in love with Jessica's free spirit and easy energy. Each day had just the right amount of activity and she also created space on the tour for personal time so we could curate an experience that met our own individual needs.

India is a place that turned the volume up on all of my senses and gave me a sense of truly being alive. The juxtaposition of smells, sounds, and sights kept the journey unpredictable and exciting!  The people are kind and curious. The food was rich and enlivening. And every place we went was so beautiful and raw. India truly is a place that reflects so much back to you about yourself and life. My daughter and I long to go back and speak of Mother India almost everyday since we've left. I always felt loved and supported there. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer while we were there. We instantly signed up for Jessica's retreat in Greece as soon as we returned back home from India because we love traveling with her so much. Looking forward to another Jessica adventure!"

— Jill Fox, India tour and Greek Island retreat participant.

Jessica's retreat changed my life because I learned how to be okay with always being myself and living in a way that expresses the truth deep within my heart. The daily yoga gave me a safe space to visit with myself and really allow what was already there to blossom. I can’t even express how valuable this time for me was and I would do it over and over again in a heartbeat."

Jenna Bingham. India, Bali, and Greek Island retreat participant.

"I knew I was needing a big change heading into my 30th year and was connected to Jessica and her retreat at exactly the right time. Jessica's retreat was a life-changing experience. She provided yoga sessions for people at all levels and beautiful resources for us to study and contemplate on our own. The theme was around finding your bliss and I am convinced that's what each one of us did on those yoga mats, swimming in the sea, sharing delicious meals with strangers who became friends, and exploring the bliss that lies in slowing life down and finding meaning in stillness. Jessica has an uncanny ability to find the best people around and bring them together on an adventure of a lifetime!"

— Brandy Arnold, Greek Island retreat participant.

"I cannot express in words the love, transformation, and joy I found in Jessica’s guidance while in India. Traveling to India for me was a life-changing experience of exploring, expanding, and being open to the joy of all senses and all emotions. Jessica has a heart as big as the world and I'm so thankful for the teachings, love, and poetry she shared along the journey."

 Rebecca Ufkes, India retreat participant.

"I was so blown away at the richness of Jessica's retreat. It was amazing, illuminating, transformative, and was exactly what I needed. I'm so thankful to practice and study under Jessica — an incredibly brave and lovely soul!"

— Amy Thome, India retreat participant.
